We Make Machines Talk
Yes, we make machines talk.
"Machines" are computers, servers, remote terminals or a
system consisting of hardware and software.
"Talk" is to tell you, to notify you and to alert
you via SMS. You also can talk-back to the machines.
How do we make machines talk? By using our GSM modem with SMS Gateway
Development Kit .
Case Studies
- Factories (such as Samsung, Sony) are using our GSM
modem to make their machines talk. Their production lines are automated with and
monitored by computers, whenever their lines have trouble, a SMS will be send
out.
- Data centres (such as CSC) are using our GSM modem to make their
machines talk. CSC hosts and maintains servers for Maybank. When any of the
servers or systems encounter failure, a SMS will be send out. Likewise for SCOPE who maintains servers and systems for
Standard Chartered Bank.
- Focus
Media who provides indoor advertising via LCD monitor uses our GSM modem
with CLISMS. Everyday, a SMS will be sent out from embedded PC (which plays the
video and advertisement) at site to confirm that the PC is running. If no SMS is
received, then Focus Media will know that their the embedded PC is not running
and therefore no video will be displayed at monitors. Focus Media will then
dispatch technician to the site to fix the problem.
Besidess "talking", our GSM modem can be used for mobile
commerce transaction, SMS broadcasting, VOIP call-back application and many
more. More case studies will be shared with you on next newsletter.
